knock knock...

been missing-in-action for quite a while... really busy the past week! soreni... (moreover) i fell sick! Slight fever and sore throat! Arghhh... miss my mommy most of all! Yeah, ma! I dont know bout you bout when you fall sick, especially in a foreign land... where your family members are thousands of miles away from ya... ya know that kind of feeling? how i wished that ma or pa could place their palm over my forehead just to check that my temperature's alright... tell ya what, back in malaysia, i would sometimes pretend to be asleep when i'm actually awake, when they wake up in the middle of the night to "check on" me... argh... how i wish they are here to hug me and aww... that is when a person gets homesick!!! well, thank god i felt a lot better the next day, after 10hrs of sleep and 2pills... oh ya, bought it at the pharmacy... not bad huh? described my symptoms to the pharmacist... in Japanese!!! Yeah, just paracetamol lah! and it's expensive mind ya... 980yen for 30 tablets... should have just popped a few panadols i have with me... i was sick, my brain wasn't functioning at that point of time lah... calculation and conversions... arghh...

i'm actually kind of lost... since the last time i post... oh ya check out the pictures i posted today... hey ma, the baked fish i made last saturday, the one wrapped in aluminium foil, looks kind of good huh? can pass? it's called "gui 1 yu 2", cant do the pinyin correctly lah... added some garlic, carrots, cheese, spring onions, a lil of butter... baked in the oven for 5minutes and voila, lunch is ready... yeah, i cooked rice... i know you guys are goin to laugh at me for being a "fan 4 tong 3"... hahahah! running out of ideas on what to cook leh! made ommelette last night, 2eggs, a slice of cheese, potato wedges with mayonnaise, vege... had 3 slices of bread, can you believe it? yeun, min and jie was shocked at the amount of food i pigged in... hah! guilty...

no worries, watching my weight closely, each day... slightly less than 50kilos...

typhoon #22 just left aichi prefecture (that is where nagoya is situated) yesterday... heard from the news that tokyo had an earthquake just yesterday... lots of domestic flights and shinkansen (bullet train) was delayed and some suspended due to the typhoon warnings... typhoon #22 is said to be the "deadliest" coz it picks up its velosity as it passes through the pasific ocean... the heat wave and all... not really sure bout the details but it is something like the "el nino" and "la nina" phenomena... some people even got killed after being hit by manhole cover! serious, this underground current is really strong... so it is advised that we stay indoors during typhoons... subway stations flooded, people stranded at the stations having no means to get home... thank god malaysian and singaporean do not have to experiencce this kind of catastrophic disaster!!! triple amen to that!
